For Running In Borrowed Shoes, Leah Nobel personally conducted a hundred interviews with people of a wide array of background and personalities. She then translated their experiences to song, the results of which is her new album. As Leah put it “what I love most about writing songs is not just the act of expressing myself. What I love most is when someone tells me that they too, relate to what I’ve written. I love the community that songs create. They make us all feel a little less alone”. At it’s core, Running In Borrowed Shoes is an album about community and that sense of togetherness that we can all experience through music.
