Does good news mean the absence of bad news? Receiving good news does not always come without opposition. When Jesus was born it was good news for the whole world but from a human standpoint was bad news for Joseph. After Joseph had already made a promise and commitment to Mary he found out that she was pregnant. She was pregnant by the Holy Spirit, and He had to reveal that to Joseph Himself. Joseph had to trust the Holy Spirit in the process when he wasn’t sure what and how things were happening. The Holy Spirit brings good news but sometimes it comes with opposition!
