The first step, to me, was the MOST IMPORTANT.   I had to go through an exercise that highlighted what habits I had. It sounds stupid to say I didn’t know my habits. Of course, I knew some of them, but until I undertook the activity I describe in step one of this process, I didn’t know exactly what they were.   It’s not stupid to not know all your habits, love.
