Singer-songwriter Charly Lowry grew up in a swampy part of North Carolina best known as the home of the Lumbee Native American Tribe. Her roots in Robeson County have shaped her musical career, from a stint on American Idol more than a decade ago to her spiritually-infused solo work today.
