Race, status, and gender are on the same playing field in Christ. They are all equal in opportunity and equal in need. We all need a Savior! Though we are all equal in Christ, oppression, and injustice still happen in our world today. We have to acknowledge the injustice that happens in our society even if we have not contributed to it. Racism and injustice cannot be in Christ. “And we no longer see each other in our former state – Jew or non-Jew, rich or poor, male or female – because we’re all one through our union with Jesus Christ with no distinction between us.” Galatians 3:28.
