Hours following a school shooting which took place at Great Mills High School in St. Mary's County, Carroll County Public Schools announced an increased law enforcement presence in area schools. In a release from the school system, officials said the security plan will place uniformed sheriff's deputies throughout the school system. Carroll County Sheriff Jim DeWees joined Bryan Nehman on WBAL News Now on Friday and laid out details on the plan calling it a "temporary solution."
