We can have HOPE in our life if we settle on two things - believing that God's plan for me is always a future and a hope it will cause hope to arise in me no matter what my circumstances are because 1) God never changes and 2) He never lies, but always honors His Word. We are supposed to lay hold of the hope that is set before us - anticipating and expecting that what He said He will perform. It's available for you and me, but it you won't lay hold of it - you won't experience it. It is "this" hope that we have as an anchor. Our hope in our hearts has to be heavy to outweigh the confusion and doubts. Just having an anchor does not hold you. We have to set our hope on the right thing or it doesn't hold us. My hope is set in what He says and not on what my desires are. Even after you set your anchor - when conditions change, RESET YOUR ANCHOR. Get back in the Word again.
