Sinopsis
This 100th Podcast for the Neurology Journal begins and closes with Dr. Robert Gross, Interim Editor-in-Chief, briefly discussing highlighted articles from the print issue of Neurology. In the second segment Dr. Ted Burns interview Dr. David Beversdorf with Dr. Michael Conn about his book co-authored with Dr. James Parker published in 2008 on research on animals. In the next segment, Dr. Ryan Overman is reading our e-Pearl of the week about Neuroimaging in acute thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. The next part of the podcast is Dr. Beau Bruce interviews Dr. Jim Lah for our LOTW about mild cognitive impairment. The participants had nothing to disclosure except Dr. Beversdorf. Dr. Beversdorf has spoken for Pfizer and Novartis until 2008, not related to this work, and has received recent funding from the National Alliance for Autism Research (now Autism Speaks) and NIH for his work.
