We’re starting to settle in to Artichoke Music, our new home for OMN’s Coffeeshop Conversations. They’re very nice to us. Look for expanded podcast production, even including video. We’re working on it. Returning to the podcast today is Ron Blessinger. Last time he visited he was leading Third Angle Music. These days he has a similar role at 45th Parallel, a similar music organization with some key differences. I met Ron when I did a TV story on Third Angle’s legendary collaboration with Steve Reich. It was momentous. Really. So let’s find out what 45th Parallel is all about and catch up with this guy who also has a day job…a violinist with the Oregon Symphony.
