The CRDA; Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, plays a substantial role in this process. Rick Santoro of the CRDA, is the Director of CRDA's Special Improvement Division. He started his career in 1980 as Steve Wynn’s body guard & driver. Often misunderstood, the NJ Legislature established the CRDA in 1984 to ensure that casinos reinvest in community and economic development projects in Atlantic City and the state of NJ.
