Guerrilla Christianity

Pastor R. Bret Walker explores Genesis 21 and the story of Hagar and Ishmael to reveal the contrast between the son of the slave and the son of the free. On Father’s Day, he reflects on earthly fathers—good, absent, or broken—and points listeners to the perfect Father who never abandons His children. God hears Ishmael’s cry, provides for him in the wilderness, and promises to make him a great nation. The message reminds us that while human families may fail, God adopts us through Christ and calls us His own, offering hope, identity, and unfailing love. (On this day, Pastor Bret had sprained his ankle and was delivering the sermon sitting down at the altar rail.) #GuerrillaChristianity #PastorRBretWalker #SonOfTheFree #Genesis21 #FathersDaySermon #HagarAndIshmael #GodOurFather #BiblicalHope #AfterTheFallSeries #ChristianPodcast
