On today's podcast I chatted with communications specialist and author Andy Freed about his book, 'Lead Like the Boss'. When Andy, a lifelong Bruce Springsteen fan was returning from one of the 95 concerts he has seen, he penned a post on LinkedIn about the leadership qualities of "The Boss", and what we can all learn from them. This post literally blew up and eventually turned into this book. Andy spoke about his own life and career, leadership lessons he learnt from working on political campaigns in America and more importantly the important lessons that leaders of today can learn from Bruce. He talks about the importance of storytelling, empathy, rehearsing, carefully listening, bringing people with you and much more. He also explains how teddy bears ended up in police cars!
