Locked On Sixers

The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Brooklyn Nets, 113-98 behind the thrilling performances of Tyrese Maxey and Jared McCain! The two guards combined for 56 points in the team’s third win of the season. The Sixers were again without the former MVP Joel Embiid who will also miss at least one more consecutive game as he is dealing with left knee swelling. In Embiid’s absence, Tyrese Maxey dropped 26 points while Jared McCain hit the 30-point mark for the second time in his young NBA career.   When the Sixers were starting to falter at the end of the third quarter and start of the fourth, Maxey and McCain took over, scoring 19 straight Sixers points. Maxey scored nine in the final quarter while McCain scored 14.
