Locked On Sixers

Joel Embiid made his return from a sinus fracture wearing a black face mask for tonight's basketball game. He would show no ill effects as he helped lead the Sixers to a 108-98 win over the Charlotte Hornets. With the win the Sixers improved to 9-16 on the season and sweep their four-game regular season series with Charlotte.The Sixers started out hot outscoring the Hornets 41-23 in the first quarter thanks in large part to Tyrese Maxey netting 15 of his 23 points in the opening frame.  The Sixers enjoyed as much as a 23 point lead in the basketball game but in the start of the fourth quarter with Joel and beat on the bench the Hornets started to make a run. They opened the final frame on a 12/2 run forcing Sixers head coach nick nurse to put in bead back in the game.
