Locked On Sixers

The Philadelphia 76ers came away with a huge upset win in Boston against the Celtics winning their Christmas Day matchup 118 to 114. Tyrese Maxey led the Sixers with 33 points and 12 assists while Caleb Martin came up with a season high 23 points while making seven of his 93 point attempts. Joel Embiid had 27 points as well!The Sixers enjoyed a 21-4 run in the fourth quarter to build their lead to 15, but as the Celtics normally do, they stormed back! Threes from Jayson Tatum, Derrick White and Jaylen Brown helped close the gap to just five. That’s when Embiid came up with a great Defensive stop on Tatum and pulled down a rebound off an Al Horford missed three.Nick Nurse showed off his coaching instincts by making sure the Sixers were awarded .02 of a second before a Sixers in-bounds play with 1:09 remaining in the fourth quarter.
