A Joel Embiid-less Philadelphia 76ers team lost to Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns 109-99 Monday night. Embiid was scratched from the game with a left foot sprain. In his absence Guerschon Yabusele was elevated to starting center. He came up with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Early in the ball game the Sixers enjoyed as much of A 12-point lead but saw that disappear fast in the second-half where they were outscored by 14 points in total. The Sixers' biggest struggle came in the third quarter when Bradley Beal went on a 14-point tear Thrusting the sons into a 78-73 lead by the close of the third. Beal finished with 25 points all off the bench leading the biggest gap between both teams on the evening. Beal led a Suns’ bench that outscored the Sixers’ 54 – 7. Tyrese Maxey was a bright spot for the Sixers scoring 31 points while coming up with 10 assists and Kelly Oubre netted 26 points with 11 rebounds After missing the last three games with a calf injury.
