Locked On Sixers

The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Brooklyn Nets 105-103 on a buzzer-beating tip-in by Nick Claxton. The Sixers struggled throughout the night but played their best basketball of the evening in the fourth quarter where Joel Embiid did not play a single minute.   For the second straight night the Sixers had Tyrese Maxey, Paul George and Joel Embiid on the court together but the trio did little to prevent the Nets from getting off to a great start, dropping 40 points in the first quarter. The Sixers even allowed the Nets to build as much as a 17-point lead in the second quarter.   Without Embiid in the fourth quarter the Sixers outscored the Nets 27-22 and broke off a 25-16  run with the main 5 being Paul George, Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre, Quentin Grimes and Guerschon Yabusele.  Your favorite podcast now has a newsletter!
