Locked On Sixers

The Philadelphia 76ers failed to notch back-to-back wins as they lost to the Portland Trail Blazers 119-102. The loss wastes a fantastic effort from six or center Andre Drummond who scored 25 points for the first time in four years while also pulling down 18 rebounds. For most Sixers fans the news of the loss is the easiest pill to swallow, As the Sixers look to keep their top six protected pick in the upcoming NBA draft. However, Tyrese Maxey suffering a lower back contusion and leaving the game midway through the third quarter may be the tougher news to hear. Maxey is listed as day-to-day and will travel to Minnesota for the Sixers’ meeting with the Timberwolves Tuesday night.   Sixers led the game at halftime 61 -56 and seemed to be in control, until the Portland Trail Blazers took over after the break, winning the third quarter by 15 points!
