Israeli billionaire and philanthropist Morris Kahn, the financial powerhouse behind Israel’s attempt to land on the moon and a range of social, medical and cultural endeavors, died Thursday at age 95. Kahn, a native of South Africa, moved to Israel in 1956. KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with journalist Steve Linde, who made aliyah from South Africa, and was a close friend of Morris Kahn.
