Magnificent Life

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi[a] from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him...” Matthew 2:1–12 Have you ever found yourself on a path you didn’t expect, realizing that the journey might be just as important as the destination? Like a GPS recalculating toward hidden treasures, each twist and turn can lead you to blessings you never anticipated. Just as a star guided the Magi, sometimes our own journeys take unexpected routes, leading to greater insights and revelations. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5–6 to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. These wise men exemplified this trust, navigating away from King Herod and instead following a new path toward the divine (Matthew 2:1–12).
