When Bryce Edwards was growing up on his family’s 642-acre farm, in Southern Illinois, his grandmother told him a story that made his jaw drop. She told him about the time when she saw what she called a Honey Bear come out of the woods, across the road from where she’d been sitting. She was sitting in her front yard, at the time, with Bryce’s father and his brother when the Honey Bear came out of the woods. When she saw it, she grabbed Bryce’s dad and his brother, ran inside with them, and hid in a closet until Bryce’s grandfather came home from work. That happened 60 years ago. Fast forward to present day and Bryce has had experiences with them of his own.
