Sinopsis
The Antitrust Law Spring Meeting is one of the biggest ABA gatherings of lawyers in the United States. In it, attorneys can get a wide variety of programs to satisfy their mandatory and ethics CLEs. Among the many presenters and speakers are 4 star generals, Justice Department officials, FTC commissioners, state enforcers, plaintiff and defense counsel, and in-house counsel of America’s largest corporations. In this Special Report, host Adam Biegel talks with Antitrust Law Spring Meeting co-chairs Paul Friedman and Margaret Ward. Together, they discuss the attendance of antitrust professionals and enforcers from all over the world, how the meeting is planned, and what the numerous sessions have to offer attorneys at all stages of their careers. Adam Biegel leads Alston & Bird’s Washington, D.C., Antitrust Team where he represents clients in antitrust and litigation matters before the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Antitrust Division, Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and state attorneys general.
