Trucking fleets are increasingly receptive to alternative fuels and sustainable technology, according to consulting firm Gladstein, Neandross & Associates’ recent survey of 250 public, private and municipal fleets. Among the reasons fleets cited were their move toward environmental sustainability and carbon reduction, and the need to find more cost-effective transportation options given the current high cost of fuel.
