Volvo Trucks has signed a letter of intent to sell up to 1,000 electric trucks to a single customer in its largest EV order to date, the manufacturer announced May 22. The Gothenburg, Sweden-based truck maker said the deal with Swiss-based building services provider Holcim extends from now through 2030, with the first 130 trucks to be delivered in 2023 and 2024.
