Every year thousands of homeless pets living on First Nations reserves find their way to animals shelters. A large part of the population is a result of pets that weren’t spayed or neutered. Fortunately, The Alberta Spay & Neuter Task Force is helping solve the problem of overpopulation by bringing free spay and neuter clinics to reserves and rural communities across Alberta.
