Malone's Movie Minute(s)

We're getting through the depths of January, and there are a few bright sparks starting to emerge in cinemas. In the US, see Jason Reitman's Labor Day as the best of a bad bunch, while Australians can finally see the brilliant 12 Years A Slave. If you have an iTunes account or access to Netflix, you shouldn't even bother leaving the house, with these great movies (many of which are Oscar nominees) now available to rent or stream: Captain Phillips, Blue Jasmine, All Is Lost, Rush, In A World, Cutie And The Boxer, The Square, Mitt. And here in the States it's Superbowl Sunday! To get in the mood, you should watch one of these: The Blind Side, Jerry Maguire, Varsity Blues, Any Given Sunday or the film version of Friday Night Lights.
