In this special edition of EMSCEP Radio we were on location at the Fairfax Fire Rescue EMS Week Training Symposium.  We caught Jose Salizar and Debbie Akers after their Keynote talk on the "Future of EMS" and asked them to summarize their talk.   José Salazar, MPH, NRP Deputy Chief of EMS & Training, Loudoun County Fire & Rescue Leesburg, Virginia               Chief Salazar has been part of the EMS field for nearly 30 years, as a provider, educator and administrator. He currently serves as the Deputy Chief of EMS & Training for Loudoun County Fire, Rescue and Emergency Management in Leesburg, Virginia. Chief Salazar received his Masters of Public Health Degree in Health Systems Management and Policy in EMS from New York Medical College. Among the many EMS /FIRE projects, publications and presentations for which Chief Salazar can be recognized, he worked with the NREMT Board of Directors to gain approval of the ARC's Emer
