In this special edition of EMSCEP Radio we were on location at the Fairfax Fire Rescue EMS Week Training Symposium talking to Stephanie Tarbell about Penetrating Trauma. Stephanie Tarbell, RN, BSN, CCRN Baltimore Shock Trauma              Stephanie is a Critical Care Trauma nurse in the Trauma Resuscitation Unit at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Prior to taking on Baltimore, I was a Critical Care flight nurse in West Virginia where I flew both scene and inter-facility flights. My (almost) 10 years of nursing experience includes basic medical surgical care, Intensive Care, and Critical Care and Trauma. My second passion as a trauma nurse is working with the Trauma and Injury Prevention Counsel with at risk youth, and participating in educational opportunities with EMS and other healthcare facilities and specialties.
