The Qatargate scandal has shifted into high gear with the arrest of Jonatan Urich, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s close adviser, and Eli Feldstein, a former spokesperson for the prime minister. They are suspected of contact with a foreign agent, money laundering and fraud and breach of trust. Netanyahu, after he was questioned by police, posted a video claiming the investigation is another political witch hunt designed to topple him from power.
