August 13, 2014 Balancing Heaven and Earth with Denise Iwaniw  "Kohola, the Whale Nation, Singing the new Song of Creation to us, the Seeds of Light". Guest, Jan Beaver, Yellow Cloud Woman, is Anishinaabe from Alderville First Nation in Ontario, Canada. She is a traditional dancer, a sacred pipe carrier, an educator, a children's author and co-facilitator of shamanic training programs based on the Way of the Circle for the Canadian Centre for Shamanic Studies at Northern Edge Algonquin retreat center in central Ontario. Jan has been on the path of spiritual illumination since a profound experience at the age of 12. She has made sacred journeys around the world at the request of Spirit to work with the ancestors, the Earth and the energy fields. Jan has written 6 books for children and youth, all centered around spirit and her Indigenous roots.
