Michelle Materre Michelle is an Associate Professor of Media Studies and Film at The New School. Founder, CEO and Curator Of “Creatively Speaking Film Series”  for the past 20 years has brought the most exciting, innovative and creative new filmmakers and their films to the Greater New York City area. She was co-founder of KJM3 Entertainment Group in 1992, one of the first independent Black film distributors in the U.S. Her commitment to presenting and preserving the Black Film genre is unbending and relentless.
