However, a pivotal personal and professional moment occurred for Gary while working the door at one of the top night spots in Newport, RI ; he met and became friends with John Paul DeJoria. Thus his long- standing relationship with John Paul Mitchell Systems was born. During his 25 plus years in the professional beauty industry, Gary has performed many roles: field sales, sales management, sales trainer, distributor, manufacturer and salon coordinator, to name a few. Gary’s commitment to excellence is not limited to the professional beauty industry... He is also serious about giving back. The annual Peace, Love, and Happiness Ride that he founded with his longtime friend, John Paul DeJoria has raised over a million dollars for the 100 Club of Central Texas (which benefits the orphans and widows of fallen peace officers). Among his many other charitable endeavors, Gary also fin
