A special report by the Jewish Agency’s Global Aliya Center shows that the number of people who have opened aliya files since October 7 has surpassed 30,000. Shimon Shamila, the COO of the Aliya Unit of the Jewish Agency, said that while rising global antisemitism was a factor, many were also spurred by the war to be part of the Jewish nation in the land of Israel. He told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that over 4,000 immigrants from the United States are expected to move to Israel this year.
