Debby to bring historic flooding to Carolinas [Special]

Informações:

Sinopsis

Tropical Storm Debby is expected to strengthen into a hurricane before a Florida landfall on Monday. The storm is then expected to cross Florida and stall near the Carolina coast. This could create days of prolonged, excessive rainfall in both North Carolina and South Carolina. Along the South Carolina coast, places such as Hilton Head, Beaufort, Charleston and Myrtle Beach could see record-breaking rainfall. The National Hurricane Center says they're fearful of the impacts that could be seen if rain totals reach between 20 and 30 inches in some places. The slow-moving storm could also bring a flooding threat inland. Along and east of the Interstate 77 corridor, places like Columbia, Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Florence, and Fayetteville could see flooding from Debby too. #northcarolina #southcarolina #weather #ncwx #scwx #podcast
