Despite  headlines declaring the UN's International Court of Justice ordered Israel to immediately halt its offensive in Rafah,  Israeli officials claim that the judges at The Hague  issued a very carefully worded ruling that does not actually compel the fighting in Rafah to stop, nor does it prevent Israel from defending itself. Robbie Sabel is a professor of law at Jerusalem’s Hebrew university and a former legal advisor at the foreign ministry. KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with him about Friday’s ICJ ruling.
