This is the premise for Alex Sinclair's debut novel, Perfect Enemy, a thriller that takes a deep dive into Israeli society, and raises probing questions about trauma and revenge, the desire for peace, religious extremism, and the schisms of the Middle East. Sinclair is a British-Israeli educator and lecturer who has written and spoken widely on Jewish education, Israel-Diaspora relations, and Israeli politics.
