Efforts to improve health services access

Informações:

Sinopsis

A recent study by the Brookdale Institute found that residents of the periphery in the north and south of the country are more inclined to forego certain medical services because of distance to access, compared to residents of the center. The study assessed characteristics of health service use among residents of the periphery and the center of the country, with the aim for improving access for all residents. KAN's  Naomi Segal asked Prof. Jack Baniel, Medical Director of the Ramat Aviv Medical Center and head of Urology at the Beilinson and Hasharon medical centers for his perspective on the report findings and steps being taken to address some of the issues.
