Turning Hard Times Into Good Times

Guests - Todd Wood, Ellen Brown and Gene Epstein. Wood visits for the first time to talk about his novel “Currency.” This novel explains the rise of America and its middle class up into the 1970s and our current decline caused largely by fiat money and embellished in spades by Ben Bernanke. Wood warns that current American monetary policy is leading our nation into an economic decline nationally and as a superpower the dollar is falling from favor by China and other creditor nations. Todd is aware of the pathology of our banking system too, a topic we will discuss with Ellen Brown who returns to update us on the threat to all of us that we will be “Cyprussed!” She will also talk about a much more citizen-friendly banking structure illustrated by the Bank of North Dakota, which is owned by the people of that State rather than the international robber barons who own you and me as their servants.
