Margo is joined this week by Quadira, the laughter goddess for a conversation about Laughter Yoga and Meditation. Laughter Medicine combines laughter exercises with deep (yogic) breathing. This brings more oxygen to the body and brain and makes you feel healthier and more energetic. Yoga means union in this case uniting laughter with deep breathing and relaxation. Why laugh? Laughter releases endorphins, reduces cortisol (stress levels), increases oxygen intake, increases energy and vitality, and improves one's sleep patterns.
