Sinopsis
Since the start of the war, some 200 doctors and paramedics have come from abroad to volunteer with Magen David Adom. After undergoing an orientation through Magen David Adom's international unit to learn the rescue service's protocols, the medical professionals join the Magen David Adom teams for shifts on ambulances and mobile intensive care units. Among those who came to volunteer with Magen David Adom is Dr. Marc Wilkenfeld, through the initiative IL-USDocAid, which provides assistance to the Israeli health system, including Magen David Adom, as it faces challenges due to the significant increase in casualties and a shortage of doctors, exacerbated by the deployment of medical professionals to the IDF reserves during the ongoing war. He spoke to KAN reporter Naomi Segal about the experience. (Photo: Screenshot)See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
