The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel has  issued a report, the first of its kind, about the findings that have been collected regarding acts of sexual assault that were committed on October 7 and on captives in Hamas captivity. According to the report, the sex crimes were committed in four separate venues—at the Nova festival, in civilian communities, on IDF bases and in the Gaza Strip. The information points to systematic group attacks on women and men, which were often committed in front of the victims’ family members and friends. Some of the victims were murdered while being raped or a short time afterwards.
