3 Likud MKs have sent a strongly-worded letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu attacking the military draft bill, which provides for widespread exemptions for the Ultra-Orthodox from military service.    Their intention was not only to say no, but to also propose a solution, based on the understanding that in the long-term, the logic of placing the burden of military service on the same segment of the population is wrong.  KAN's Mark Weiss asked Yehoshua Pfeffer, a Jerusalem community rabbi and founder of the IYUN Institute, how the ultra-Orthodox community has responded to the growing calls for a more equitable sharing of the burden of military service.
