Prayer is not merely a one-sided conversation but an invitation for God to speak to us. As we pour out our hearts to Him, we learn to discern His voice amidst the world's noise. We learn to recognize His gentle whisper, guiding and prompting us towards His will. A friend of mine, feeling lost and unsure about her career path, spent time praying and fasting, seeking God's divine guidance. During this time, she felt strongly convinced that she should pursue a career in teaching rather than continuing in her current job.
