The Israel-Hamas war differs from any previous conflict Israel has been involved in since 2000, with respect to its duration and the sheer number of reservists called up to active duty. As part of its State of the Nation Report 2023, the Taub Center for Social Policy Studies in Israel this week released a special chapter addressing the war's social and economic effects.
