French Foreign Minister seeks to deescalate tensions

Informações:

Sinopsis

Visiting French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna said in Jerusalem today that an immediate truce was necessary to progress towards a cease fire to obtain the release of hostages and delivery of more humanitarian aid to the civilians in the Gaza Strip. But she also made a point to speak out against the horrific cases of sex crimes against Israeli woman perpetrated by Hamas terrorists and criticized the denials and silence against the crimes. The French Foreign Minister’s visit was also part of her country’s efforts to end the escalation with Hizbullah, and prevent a war breaking out between Israel and Lebanon. We spoke of French Foreign Minister Colonna’s visit with Miriam Rosman, a historian and expert in Israel-French relations and member of the Forum Devora.
