It’s olive picking season and the approaching holiday of Chanuka is the festival of lights which also celebrates the miracle of the olive oil. Only this year, it’s taking place in the shadow of the war with Hamas. The annual Galilee olive festival is now coming to Tel Aviv and the public is invited to taste and purchase high quality olive oil grown by Israeli farmers. We spoke earlier with Dr. Adi Naali, the CEO of the Israeli Olive Oil council about the festival and the challenges of Israeli olive farmers.
