Six Druze soldiers have been killed in the fighting in the Gaza Strip. The coalition announced over the weekend, plans to advance legislation of a basic law that would grant the Druze community in Israel special status. Dr Amir Khnifess, chair of the Israel Druze Center, says the Druze community is now focused on the war effort and is putting aside its political grievances as long as the fighting continues.
