With the outbreak of the war, Israel's high-tech sector mobilized to help the homefront, meeting needs of civilians as well as soldiers. Marian Cohen, president of the Mer Group and chair of the Israeli Hi-Tech Association which is affiliated with the Israel Manufacturers Association, spoke to KAN's Naomi Segal about the response, the impact of the hostilities on the sector, and the need, in his view, for the government to change its spending priorities to keep the economy going.
