The apostle Paul asserts that the Gentiles are being saved because they are believing the gospel, and Israel is accursed because they have rejected the gospel. God is sovereign, and man is responsible. There are two kinds of righteousness – the righteousness of God received by faith, and the righteousness of the law attained by works. Only one righteousness justifies. When one does submit to the righteousness of God, Christ becomes for him the end of the law for righteousness.
