Hamas has been able to steal hundreds of millions of dollars in foreign humanitarian aid aimed for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip to pay for its arms and rockets for terrorism. This according to NGO Monitor, a group that monitors funding and actions of non governmental organizations in the context of the Arab-Israeli conflict. President of the NGO Monitor Prof. Gerald Steinberg said that many European groups and governments have already frozen their funding of Palestinian organizations pending review. He told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that it will now not be possible for the organizations to continue unregulated funding to Palestinians.
